James Gunn Begins Quarantine in Canada Ahead of Peacemaker Shoot

Filming of the Peacemaker series (The Spinoff of Suicide Squad) will soon begin in Vancouver, and now writer/director James Gunn is preparing for other things as well. On Sunday, Gunn went on Twitter to share the X-Box sent to him by Microsoft, noting that his mandatory quarantine in Canada will tackle the long-awaited HBO Max series.

In September WarnerMedia announced an HBO Max series that will focus on the character Xena, The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker. We know little about the show, except that we expect him to follow the origin of the character. Gann is set to record the eight episodes of the series directly, as well as a number of episodes, including the first. The last report stated that the production of 11. From January to January 9th. June 2021 would take place, although the arrival of Gunn is not unusual at the moment, as there is probably still a lot of pre-sale work to be done before the cameras go online.

Peacekeeper is an opportunity to delve into the current problems of the world through the prism of this superhero/super villain and the world’s biggest idiot, Gunn said at the announcement of the series. I can’t wait to expand The Suicide Squad and bring this character from the DC movie world to the full scope of the series. And of course, the chance to work with John, Peter and my friends at Warner Bros. is still the icing on the cake.

Oh, shit, it’s the Peacekeeper! HBO Max will explore the origins of the character Peacemaker in Max’s original new action-adventure series Peacemaker, a weapons master from the long-awaited film The Suicide Squad. In the first season of the series, HBO Max gave a live series of eight episodes. John Chen will once again play a role in the series Suicide Squad and the famous writer and director James Gunn will write and direct all eight episodes of The Peacemaker, including the first. Peter Safran, producer of Gunn and The Suicide Squad, will be the executive producer of the series, while Cena will act as co-producer. Peacemaker is based on characters from Washington, DC and is produced by Gunn’s Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company in collaboration with Warner Bros. Peacemaker’s production is scheduled for early 2021, before Gunn’s next film Guardians of the Galaxy begins.
