We all need something to look forward to now, but the reality is that Christmas is the time for advertising.

As always, most people are happy with the John Lewis Christmas commercial.

The shopkeeper, hand in hand with Adam and Eve/DBB, beat him with their earlier Christmas efforts, starting with an ad for Sweet Child o Mine in 2009, and their ads were placed next to tinsel and family explosions as the most important part of the holiday season.

This is what we know about John Lewis’ Christmas ad in 2020.

What is the release date of the John Lewis Christmas ad in 2020?

It is not yet known when this year’s announcement will appear, but the last six attempts were published in the first half of November.

In 2019 an ad for Excited Edgar followed a clumsy dragon who fought for the acceptance of a group of villagers and was placed on the cover of REO Speedwagon Can’t Fight This Feeling Bastille. It was published on the 14th. The November issue.

Elton John’s announcement for 2018 was published on the 15th. On 10 November, exactly one year later, Moses Monster, 2017 and Buster Boxer, 2016 were released. November, published.

The versions for 2014 and 2015 were released even earlier, respectively on day 7 and day 6. In November, and in all previous years, John Lewis had waited until December to present his masterpiece at Christmas.

Who are the John Lewis singers of 2020?

We are lucky to have a lot of speculation around our TV spots, but we never comment on them because we want to keep it a surprise, John Lewis told Metro.co.uk earlier this month, but that has not stopped the speculation about the personality of the singer in the commercial of John Lewis in 2020.

Jess Glyn is a pop star who would lend her voice for this year’s ad, although the shopkeeper still has to confirm or deny the rumours, of course.

Whoever he is, he has to follow in his footsteps, with Elton John, Ellie Goulding and – very memorable – Lily Allen, who played for the commercial.

It has also been reported that Sir Tom Moore, a 100-year-old boy who raised over £33 million for the NHS this year, played a part in the announcement.
