What are the different classes in Axie

Axie is a decentralized, peer-to-peer ecosystem with a built-in marketplace that allows users to trade and sell their unused computing power.

The axie class is a class in Axie that allows users to create their own custom classes. There are six different types of classes that can be created, which are the Axie Class, Axie Interface, Axie Component, Axie Script, Axie Module, and the Axie Package.

Many new gamers have joined others in breeding and fighting Axies in Lunacia as Axie Infinity has gained traction. If you’re one of the game’s newcomers, you’re probably already acquainted with the game’s classes. Even seasoned Axie Infinity players, including many managers and academics, are unaware of the complexities of these classes. This tutorial will also assist you if you are still in the process of forming your first Axie squad. What are Axie Infinity’s classes, and how do they influence gameplay?

What are the Axie Infinity classes?

In Axie, there are presently nine classes. You may relate class to Pokemon type as an analogy. The Axie, as well as their actions (or cards), fall into one of these nine categories. The Axie and all of its maneuvers will be of the same class for purebred Axies.

In Axie Infinity, there are nine classes:

  1. Reptile
  2. Plant
  3. Dusk
  4. Aquatic
  5. Bird
  6. Dawn
  7. Beast
  8. Bug
  9. Mech

If an Axie is not purebred, it implies that two Axies of various classes mated somewhere in its history, resulting in an Axie with multiple classifications for its movements and breed. Although this isn’t always a negative thing, Axie Infinity breeders prefer purebred Axies. When breeding purebred Axies, it’s simpler to get Axies with particular parts and skills. As a result, purebred Axies — those with 6/6 parts that match the Axie’s species – are usually very expensive.

However, having a separate class for your Axie’s cards from its breed isn’t a terrible thing. You may also combine cards from various grades to create fantastic combinations. That, however, is a lesson for another day.

Advantage of the Axie Infinity Class

Axies have class advantages, much like Pokemon. The energy cost, the assault, and the defense are the three values of Axie cards. When determining the real damage done by an Axie to an opponent Axie, the Axie class comes into play. Three sets of classes in Axie Infinity have a rock-paper-scissors relationship:

  • Aquatic, Bird, and Dawn are beaten by Reptile, Plant, and Dusk.
  • Beast, Bug, and Mech are defeated by Aquatic, Bird, and Dawn.
  • Reptile, Plant, and Dusk lose against Beast, Bug, and Mech.

You can figure out which classes perform best against which kind of Axies by looking at this triangle. Having a class advantage over another Axie allows your Axie to inflict greater damage, regardless of the move’s class. That implies that no matter what move a Reptile Axie makes against an Aquatic Axie, for example, it will always do more damage. When you attack with a class advantage, you will inflict 15% more damage. When you attack with a class disadvantage, you will inflict 15% less damage.

Furthermore, if an Axie makes a move that is in the same class as the card – for example, a Reptile Axie utilizing a Reptile class card – the Axie will get 10% more from the card’s values. The Reptile card Kotaro Bite, for example, has the following stats: 80 attack, 20 defense, and 1 energy. When a Reptile Axie uses Kotaro Bite, it does 88 damage and gains 22 shield points instead.

These incentives are cumulative. When a Reptile Axie attacks an Aquatic Axie with Kotaro Bite, the total damage is 101.

While there are Mech, Dusk, and Dawn Axie classes, there are no Mech, Dusk, or Dawn cards available at the moment. These three classes, on the other hand, are unique in that they can only be bred under certain circumstances (more on this later).

What other effects do Axie classes have?

Axie classes have an impact on each Axie’s statline in addition to the class advantage. While an Axie’s stats are preset on the day it hatches from its egg, the values of those stats are decided by the Axie’s class or species.

The Aquatic Axie, for example, will have 39 HP, 39 Speed, 35 Skill, and 27 Morale as basic numbers. Then, for each bodily component, these metrics will get greater value. As a general guideline, if you want:

  • Aquatic: Increased speed and a small increase in HP
  • Beast: Increased morale and a small speed increase
  • Bird: Increased speed, moderate morale boost
  • Bug: Increased morale and a small increase in HP
  • Plant: Increased HP, mild morale boost
  • Reptile: Increased HP and a small speed increase

Each Axie will be made up of six parts: two that are mainly aesthetic and only influence the final statline as stated above, and four that will decide which cards the Axie will have. Knowing these minor characteristics will help you limit down your search choices in the Axie Marketplace when selecting your first Axie team.

Dusk, Dawn, and Mech Axies may be bred in the following ways:

As previously stated, Dusk, Dawn, and Mech Axies are unique. Breeding purebred Axies of various classes is the only method to breed these unique classes. When you breed them, you’ll get Dusk, Dawn, or Mech Axies 33% of the time. To be more detailed:

  • Reptile + Aquatic parents at dusk
  • Dawn – Parents of Plants and Birds
  • Parents: Mech – Beast + Bug

Dusk, Dawn, and Mech will all get benefits from cards from particular classes, following the same concept as class bonuses. Dusk, Dawn, and Mech, on the other hand, get just a 7.5 percent benefit from their cards, unlike their purebred relatives. This is just half of the purebreeds’ 15%, but these Special Classes provide you additional options when it comes to assembling your squad. You may safely have both Reptile and Aquatic cards on your Dusk Axie, for example, with these Axies.
