Buccaneers vs. Washington Wild Card playoff prediction, pick

The NFL Wild Card Weekend has finally arrived, and one of the most long-awaited games is Saturday night when the Washington soccer team hosts the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. NFL odds for this game are also available, that’s why we’re here.

As is often the case with four- and five- side matches, these two teams have had two totally different seasons.

Tampa Bay has had its ups and downs and has not lived up to its high expectations. They are one of the hottest teams in soccer and they come in this game 11-5.

While Tampa Bay was one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history this season, Washington threw four different quarterbacks this season and failed to set a winning record despite playing in the worst division in the NFL and ending the season with a 7-9 record.

The Brady Bucks are going into this game as the clear favorite, as Washington is the third team in NFL history to go to the playoffs at a loss.

Despite this mediocrity, the last two teams qualifying for the play-offs without 8 victories (the Seattle Seahawks in 2010 and the Carolina Panthers in 2014) have won the Wild Card games.

It could be a fluke, but let’s see if Washington can go below 500 points in the playoffs this weekend.

Why Tampa Bay can cover propagation

Momentum is the key to the NFL playoffs, and Tampa Bay is one of the hottest teams in football, winning their last four games with a combined score of 148-75.

While all four games were played against teams with weak defenses and not in the play-offs, the Bucks seemed to dominate the other play-off teams, beating the Green Bay Packers 38-10 in week six.

Tampa Bay has managed to win 11 games this season with a powerful offense, scoring 38 or more points in six games this season and averaging 30.8 points per game, the third highest score in the NFL.

While all teams who lost in Tampa Bay this season are currently in the playoffs, they win 10-0 against teams with a losing record against teams under the .500 with seven wins with 12 points or more.

It’s because of this play-off race that Tampa Bay signed Tom Brady for the off-season. Surrounded by Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski, the Bucs can very well score 40 points in this game, and Washington is not cut out for penalty kicks.

Why Washington can cover theseries

As dominant as the Bucs have been this season, Washington has been just the opposite. If you throw four different quarterbacks during the season, your attack will generally be unsuccessful.

Alex Smith, who is expected to start this week, is in practice partially limited, as are two of his best offensive weapons, Antonio Gibson and Terry McLaurin.

Even if he is Smith for this game, with his inability to get out of the bag, the Bucs have an elite setter in Ndamukong Suh, Shaquille Barrett and Lavonte David who can make his life a living hell on Saturday night.

While Washington’s attack wasn’t very fierce this season, the defense’s dominance explains its presence in the playoffs.

Third in DVOA, second in yards allowed per game and fourth in points per game, Washington wins because he knows how to put pressure on the quarterback with one of the best defensive trios in the rookie sensation Chase Young, Montez Sweat and Ryan Kerrigan.

Tom Brady’s struggling under pressure. According to Pro Football Focus, the adjusted completion rate increased from 79.3% with a clean bag to 57.9% under pressure.

If Washington can put Brady under pressure and get a few bags in key situations, it would be a recipe for Washington to cover the spread here.

NFL Odds PredictionFinal

I’d like to vote for Washington because it’s never fun to encourage Tom Brady when things are going well.

I think we’re going to see a great piece of Young in prime time, and I wouldn’t be shocked if the early pressure led to a first-half interception to give Washington a semblance of a first-half lead.

The most prominent football teams are always in the running for the Wild Card. Even if Mike Evans isn’t involved in this game, Washington’s attack can’t withstand the firepower of Tampa Bay.

Alex Smith is one of the best football stories of recent years, but with the severity of his leg injury, his inability to maneuver under pressure will do a lot of damage to the team.

I bet Washington will cover the first half, but I expect Brady to score three touchdowns on the pass in the second half, while the Bucs will face the seeded Packers in the second round.

Prediction of the final result : Tampa Bay 34-Washington 13

Khalil Mack, Drew Brees, Mitchell Trubisky.
