Man Utd boss Solskjaer regrets Donny van de Beek transfer, reckons Jamie Redknapp

Jamie Redknapp believes that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer regrets the transfer of Manchester United.

Jamie Redknapp believes that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already regretted signing a contract with Donny of the Beck in Manchester United and regrets that he did not spend the money on the transfer to a defender.

In September the Red Devils signed the international treaty of the Netherlands with Van de Beek van Ajax worth 40 million pounds.

However, 23-year-old Van de Beeck has made a bad start with his career at Old Trafford and has yet to work in the Premier League under Solskier.

Solskier insisted that fans of Manchester United shouldn’t have to worry about Van de Beck, and his colleague, midfielder Scott McTominay, said his time had come for the club.

But Redknapp believes that Solskjär already regrets having received his signature and wants him to strengthen his defensive capacities instead.

He [Van de Beek] is a talent we saw when he played for Ajax and Holland, Redknapp said in a Sky Sport podcast.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees it day after day. If a player’s good enough, he’s playing.

Solskier clearly doesn’t think he’s the right man for the team yet. Maybe he’s not strong enough, or he doesn’t show up enough.

You saw that when Fabinho came to Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp didn’t play with him. But at that time it wasn’t a big problem or a big problem because they were doing so well and they had other actors.

This luxury was available in Liverpool and not in Manchester United. If he was in Liverpool, it wouldn’t be so important, but because he’s united and they’re fighting, everyone wants to see him.

But the problem is where to play it. It is very difficult for Mr Solskaer and he would probably prefer not to have it if he was absolutely honest and preferred to have £40 million in another centre and strengthen the area where they certainly have problems.

Solskier insisted this week that Van de Beek will play a major role in Manchester United this season, although his playing time is limited.

It says a lot about the depth of our quality that we shouldn’t use it in every game, it says a lot about our ambitions, Solskjaer said.

For some actors and commentators this is a good thing. I know you don’t have enough time for television and that you have to make your point quickly, but you have to know that you don’t have to start the first three games to realize that you are an important part of the team.

I’d be disappointed if some of my teammates told me I wasn’t important at Manchester United, but I haven’t started many races yet.

Donny will be very, very important to us. Don’t worry about it.
