Paris Jackson’s new single, Let Down Here, and it’s beautiful. If you’re over 20 years old, you might think you’ve been transported to the ’90s or even ’80s, to the Cowboy Junkies or Mazzie Star. The voice of Paris is soft and breathable, covering every syllable with delicacy and silky precision. There is no doubt that Paris has arrived and we are blessed.

Michael Jackson’s daughter certainly had huge shoes because she was surrounded by music all her life. One can only imagine how the loss of her father at a young age, combined with the public nightmare of the charges against him, destroyed her. And it is the destruction that haunts his voice like a painful echo that never fades but takes shape in his music.
