No Time to Die Delay Is Costing MGM Nearly $1 Million a Month in Interest

The price of a delayed film is very expensive, and the new MGM studio report shows how heavy it is. The report shows that MGM’s loans for the upcoming No Time to Die Bonding will cost the studio $1 million a month, at an interest rate that will remain in force until the film is released. That’s a lot of martinis.

MGM financed No Time To Die with a large loan, which is typical for many big-budget movies, but the constant delay in release means that interest is built up and is not paid until the movie is released in the movie theater. The report contains a quote from Hal Vogel, CEO of Vogel Capital Research, who says the studio is in trouble and they are not alone.

POWERFUL: The evil James Bond villain hides a great secret to die in an instant
MGM suffers from Rami Malek. All major distributors currently have a large number of unpublished and expensive films. This pile grows every day. These films are inventories. They’re just sitting there with no return. Even when interest rates are low, interest costs accumulate. So it’s not crazy to go down the river. They spent the money. And you won’t get it back any time soon.

This is due to recent rumors that MGM wants to sell the film to a streaming service and that companies like Netflix and Apple want to buy it. Their interest waned when MGM claimed $600 million, so No Time to Die could skip the theaters and go straight home. Since then, it has been reported that MGM is still planning to present the latest James Bond film escapade in theaters, and the MGM spokesperson has put an end to the rumors. We won’t comment on the rumor. The film is not for sale. According to her, the film is scheduled for release in April 2021. Of course, it wasn’t just MGMs who suffered, and Warner Bros. showed that the Tenet Christopher Nolan unfortunately didn’t have the success hoped for.

The film was originally scheduled for release in November 2019. Since then, the film has been postponed several times due to the current world situation. If it wasn’t bad enough, director Cary Joji Fukunaga recently admitted that the film could be postponed even further if the situation didn’t improve. I think there’s still potential, he said. I see things now very rationally… There’s a lot more going on. I have friends who have lost businesses, restaurants and other friends who have lost family members.

Five years after the conquest of Ernst Stavro Blofeld, No Time to Die is gaining momentum and James Bond has already completed his active service. He is approached by his friend Felix Leiter and a CIA officer who uses his help in the search for the missing scientist Valdo Obrutschew. If it turns out that Obrutschew has been kidnapped, Bond will face a danger the world has never seen before.

Directed by Cary Joji Fukunagas Neil Purvis, Robert Wade, Fukunaga and Phoebe Waller Bridge. Leah Seidou, Ben Wishou, Naomi Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz and Ralph Fayenne discuss their roles in previous films, with Lachana Lynch, Ana de Armas and Rami Malek as protagonists. No Time to Die will also see Daniel Craig in his latest performance as an iconic secret agent. No Time to Die (hopefully) will take place on the 2nd place. April 2021 opened in the theatres. It came to us through a Hollywood reporter.
