Renton, Wash. — Seattle Seahawks have put Chris Carson on the roster of shady players for Thursday night’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, but a source told ESPN’s Adam Shepter that the return game is unlikely to be played.
The good news for the Seahawks is that Carlos Hyde (hamstring) will play for the first time as he and Carson (leg) will play in the 7th minute. The grace period of an extra week in Arizona. Since then, the Sea Hawks (6-3) have not had the two best backs in the race.

Lokette is mentioned as doubtful because of what Carroll described this week as a mild knee sprain. But Carroll said he would undoubtedly play Counter.
He just looked too good on the training field today, Carroll said. … We need to see how he’s doing after today. We don’t know that yet. As much as I would like to be an optimist, and I am an optimist, we have to see that if something happened, whatever happened.
Lokette played the second most successful landing game in the history of the franchise, while Seattle and Arizona were in the 7th round of the franchise. We pulled a trick. With the help of Patrick Peterson, who neutralized DK Metcalf, Lockett made 15 passes on 20 goals of 200 yards and three touchdowns.
On Wednesday he was limited in his training.
He looked too good today, Carroll said. He had light feet, moved and jumped quite well. We should keep it today. He wanted to practice all this. We held him for a while.
Jamal Adams participated fully in all three practice sessions this week and is expected to play despite his shoulder injury last week.

Homer (wrist/knee/finger) is listed as doubtful for Thursday night. Bo Scarbrow is also part of the training team in Seattle, if necessary for the depths of the day.
Seahawks have injury problems in the corners and in the middle.
They eliminated the first corners of Shakeel Griffin (hamstring) and Quinton Dunbar (knee) and put Neiko Thorpe (core) back on the injured stick. Tre Flowers and DJ Reed Jr. started last week.
The Ethan Posik launch site isn’t working either. His replacement, Kyle Fuller, is considered questionable because of the severe ankle sprain he suffered last week, but Carroll expects him to be available if needed. Jamarco Jones is downtown Seattle 3. Security guard Phil Haynes, who has been activated just outside the trauma park, may also play in the center.
Carroll said Posic did much better after missing him last week due to a concussion.
Only a short week didn’t give him a chance, Carroll said. Kyle, he’ll be ready for the game. Let’s see how good he is on game day. But he had all the training on the pages. We’ve had a whole week off with him and he did well the first time, so he’s ready when we need him.
Sihouki also eliminated Jordan Simmons’ left watchman Wade. It went to Mike Yupati, who’s not in the Seattle trauma report.
