After months of waiting, the trailer for the Netflix original horror series “Midnight Mass” is finally here. “Midnight Mass” is the first original series from the Netflix horror streaming service, which was first announced last year. Based on the title, it sounds like “Midnight Mass” is a horror series that centers on a modern-day cult that gathers for midnight masses at a Catholic cathedral.
Earlier this week, the official Twitter account of the upcoming Netflix series, Midnight Mass, released a poster for the show.
Mike Flanagan, the showrunner of Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor, is working on a new project. The poster art for the concert, titled Midnight Mass, was recently released. The statement that the trailer would be released next week is an essential part of the poster. That video will almost certainly be the finest look at the series thus far.
The program, which will be accessible on Netflix, will premiere on September 24, 2021. The trailer’s anticipated release date was revealed today in the form of a poster. The trailer is most likely to appear on September 9, which is next week’s Thursday. You can see the picture of the poster below as people wait in expectation. It follows the trend of “floating heads” posters that are popular in the entertainment business these days. For those unfamiliar with the term, “floating heads” refers to a picture of the primary cast’s faces that is dispersed across the image. “Be not frightened,” proclaims the show’s tagline. Instead of being a photograph, the artwork seems to be painted.

According to the series’ description, “Midnight Mass is the story of a tiny, secluded island town whose already-existing divides are exacerbated when a disgraced young man (Zach Gilford) returns and a charismatic priest arrives (Hamish Linklater). When Father Paul’s arrival on Crockett Island coincides with inexplicable and apparently miraculous occurrences, the community experiences a fresh sense of religious zeal – but do these miracles come at a cost?”
Kate Siegel, a longtime collaborator and Mike Flanagan’s real-life wife, is one of the cast members. Rahul Abburi, Crystal Balint, Matt Biedel, Alex Essoe, Annarah Cymone, Annabeth Gish, Rahul Kohli, Kristin Lehman, Robert Longstreet, Igby Rigney, Samantha Sloyan, Henry Thomas, and Michael Trucco are among the other actors who appear in the film. Thomas has previously worked with Flanagan before, having appeared in the first two seasons of the show’s Haunting of series. He portrayed the younger version of the family’s father in the first season. He was one of the manor’s numerous spirits for the second. Flanagan and Trevor Macy executive produce the program for Intrepid Pictures.
Flanagan has established himself as one of the most talented horror writers working today. He’s directed a number of critically praised horror films in the past 10 years. Doctor Sleep, a sequel to The Shining, Gerald’s Game, a film about a woman who becomes trapped in her room, Oculus, a slasher about a deaf woman’s fight for survival against a home invader named Hush, and Ouija: Orgin of Evil, a supernatural prequel that received far better reviews than the original, are all examples. He was also the showrunner for the critically praised Haunting of series, which was hailed as one of the finest programs of 2018.
The link between Midnight Mass and earlier Flanagan works is striking. The series shares a title with Maddie Young’s novel Hush, and Gerald’s Game featured the same book. Given Flanagan’s track record, the performance is sure to please both fans and reviewers.
