Kate ‘healed rift between Charles and William with birthday photo’

Kate Middleton is said to have played a key role in healing what appears to be a tumultuous relationship between Prince William and Prince Charles.

The 39-year-old Duchess of Cambridge is said to be responsible for organising a family portrait for her 70th birthday. She may have been responsible for her father-in-law’s birthday in 2018.

Three generations of the royal family, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are shining.

They posed for a photo and claimed Charles was unhappy with his time with the Cambridges – whose residence in Norfolk, Anmer Hall, is a four-hour drive from the home of the future king and his wife Camilla in Gloucestershire, Highgrove House.

An aide to Prince William, 38, reportedly said he was no longer doing anything for his father when the duke was invited to take part in a television programme celebrating Charles’ work for the Duchy of Cornwall, the Daily Mail reports.

And William wasn’t happy either when his father published an official photo of him with his children George aged seven, Charlotte aged five and Louis aged two in the background.

The Duke is also said to have expressed concern after Charles explained to journalists how Highgrove Gardens had been transformed into a toddler’s paradise for two-year-old George.

But the once chilling relationship between father and son is said to have thawed thanks to Kate’s interference.

William said in an earlier interview: I wish he spent more time with the kids. …. You know, playing with his grandkids.

When he’s there, he’s great, but we need him as often as possible.

As father and son spend more time together, Charles is increasingly expected to seek Williams’ advice.

An adjutant would have said: He gives William a lot more information.

He understands that his own reign will be shorter than his son’s, so it is critical that William be included in any long-term plan.

They spent more time together and were much more in tune with each other.

Both feel better about themselves – and with themselves.

Another royal insider reportedly told Vanity Fair that Charles and William’s relationship is strong, solid and based on love and affection.

Charles and William were also in another historic photo with the Queen and Prince George, showing four generations of the royal family mixing Christmas pudding for charity last December.
