With previously unpublished documents and interviews with the couple’s close family and friends, including Ronald Reagan Jr., the Reagans’ indelible stamp on society, the nation and the world, and how their influence still resonates in today’s conservative movement.

    The series sheds light on the truths underlying Reagan’s myth and critically analyzes Ronald Reagan’s quest for power, his way of governing, the impact of his economic policies and Nancy Reagan’s unprecedented role in the White House. A generation after the Reagans were at the centre of the national and world stage, the series reconsidered the Reagans.     Part 2, which will take place on the 22nd. The film, which aired in November, is called Right Turn and the description is promising: With Reagan’s background in race and his history as a Law and Order party candidate who effectively used racist codes as a strategy to win the election, Nancy began to act as a political force.

    Part 3, to be published on 29. The Great Case, broadcast on November 11th, is called The Great Case, and its description is that Nancy and Ronald are struggling with their image because they seem more concerned about the rich and the military-industrial complex than about the poor. They investigate the triumph of the two Reagans and how Ronald defeated the New Deal.

    Part 4, to be published on 6. December is called In the Stars, and its description is Reagan’s second term – and the almost complete closure of the government in the light of the Iran-Countran scandal – is under consideration. Nancy’s backstage reveals her true influence and power: She skillfully balances the act of an obedient woman as Ronald’s health deteriorates with her desire to shape the Reagan legacy. The tragic inactivity of the Reagans on the HIV/AIDS pandemic will be assessed with the participation of Dr. Anthony Fauci.
