The Los Angeles Lakers were not happy with Solomon Hill after his jumping on the court led to an injury to superstar LeBron James.
Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroeder criticized Hill for what they saw as a dangerous play that left James, the MVP favorite, with an ankle injury.
I really don’t feel like it was a ballgame and he had to go through his leg to get the ball, Harrell told reporters after the game, according to Silver Screen & Roll. I don’t know what you think about it being a ball and chasing it, but like I said, that’s neither here nor there, man. I don’t think it was one of those games where he tried to do that, but at the end of the day, I still feel like it’s one of those things to watch because it was a defining moment in the game.
Yes, he [LeBron] always hits a big three-pointer in the corner on the next play, but at the end of the day, it’s something to watch. I feel like we see it quickly when a guy makes three-point shots, so why don’t we see it in this example here? That’s all I have to say about that.
Schroeder had the same opinion as Harrell, as did many people on Twitter who flooded Hill’s inbox. The Hawks forward responded to the allegations on Twitter.

LeBron James speaks out after his injury
James was reportedly spared a serious injury after an MRI of his ankle came back negative. However, James suffered a sprained leg and will be out indefinitely, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, who added that James could be out for an extended period.

Healing a sprained ankle can take anywhere from six weeks to three months, depending on the health line. James is a different animal when it comes to his body though, but he will make sure he is absolutely prepared so as not to risk any more injuries.
James shared his thoughts on the injury on Twitter after the game.

The Lakers are already without Anthony Davis, who is suffering from calf and achilles problems. He will miss at least another week while he recovers.
James is averaging 25.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 8.0 assists this season, second best in the NBA despite Davis’ prolonged absence.
With the two superstars gone, Schroeder will demand more and be responsible for orchestrating the offense.
It’s obviously hard to make up for Anthony Davis’ absence, but when you have a player like Dennis Schroeder who can really compete on both sides of the ball, he’s been indispensable since his return, Lakers coach Frank Vogel said. Since he’s been back from the health and safety protocols, I think our record is pretty good, and he’s been a big part of that.
Kyle Kuzma paints a scary scene after injury James
James takes good care of his body and spends millions to stay in the best shape possible. That allowed him to play more than 1,500 games without missing time, except for a groin injury that kept him sidelined for 17 consecutive games in his first year in Los Angeles.
Kyle Kuzma had seen James get beaten up on the field before, but he had never seen anything like Saturday, when James lay on the field writhing and screaming in pain.

Despite things looking very bleak, James managed to get back into the game very quickly. Before heading to the locker room, he hit a 3-pointer that gave him 10 points and brought his point total in consecutive games to 1,036.
