The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Bove has been candid about her relationship with the rest of the cast of the Bravo reality show’s eleventh season, including the woman she had the least dealings with last season.
During her conversation with Vulture, Bove revealed that she became friends with Kyle Richards during the filming of the show’s second round, despite Richards disparaging statements about her during the season 10 RHOBH reunion. Bove also said she was obsessed with Richards’ sister Katie Hilton, who is the girlfriend of the Housewives this season.
I think sometimes you have to have the tough conversations, Bove said. The Coming 2 America star confirmed that she and Richards had a difficult conversation about racism and that they were able to put their issues behind them and have a deeper connection.
I don’t know what I can say, but I think the fact that she accused me [at the season 10 reunion] for not paying for charity was definitely something she used as a weapon, Bove said of Richards. You can see it in the show. I’m not supposed to talk about it. But it was in line with some of the things you say to people, and it was just a cheap shot.

After her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills debut in season 10, Bove described Richards as the least welcoming of all the cast members and said she hangs over her during their conversations. The duo’s problems intensified during their reunion on the show, when Richards accused Bove of not making a donation she had promised during a fundraiser for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
They came to my fundraiser, picked up an oar to donate $5,000 and didn’t pay! Richards said on camera, according to People.
A stunned Beauvais alerted her suit to see what she said, then revealed she was unaware of the problem of her donation not being paid and said she would check with her business manager. Richards later confirmed that Bove had finally made the payment, but only after trying to reach her several times. In her Instagram stories, Bowe explained that the payment innocently slipped through her fingers because she was busy traveling right after the charity event.
Why shouldn’t I pay for what I’ve repaired? Bove said. That’s my character. That’s my honesty. I don’t play when it comes to these things.
Garcelle Bove recently hinted that her relationship with Kyle Richards has turned 180 degrees from last season.
Bove has since said that her relationship with Richards was the biggest 180 of any of her relationships since the show’s first season, according to Bravo.com. During an appearance on The Bell, which will be televised live, Bove said of Richards: We had a great time this season after reviewing our stuff.
In an interview with Vulture, she also talked about how Richards praised her sister Katie Hilton. It’s a crazy story, Bove told the paper. Katie came to my room when we were in Tahoe. It was late at night, and she said: I just want you to know that I have a feeling for you. I have a feeling you’re going to do great things. Keep your head up and do your job and you’ll do great. And I think she repeated the same thing she said to me, to Kyle, and Kyle said: You’re not a swami, Katie. Garcel is already doing amazing things.
