Anthony Edwards stood out Friday night with the best NBA dunk of the season. The Minnesota Timberwolves rookie has been playing a lot of basketball lately, but nothing he’s done so far has attracted as much attention as his spectacular play against Yuta Watanabe.
The T-Wolves hosted the Toronto Raptors on Friday and played a very tight and defensive game, which is refreshing in the league this season. Edwards didn’t score many points, but he scored the game and certainly the season with his dunk on a Raptors player. He took the ball into the left corner, saw the highway and took off. Watanabe tried to stop him at the rim, but his attempts were in vain. Edwards dunked the ball ferociously over his defender in what is now one of the best displays in recent memory.
The response didn’t take long, and everyone had their say about the work. The Timberwolves’ Twitter account posted a large message asking if Edwards could break the law after the game.

It was a great game, and NBA fans won’t soon forget it. Edwards was already known for his aerial talent before he entered the league, and he confirmed it with his performances in Minny. Big things are expected from this young man, and although the T-Wolves have struggled this season, Ant-Man has been the light at the end of the tunnel for them.
