Blue Bayou Restaurant Will Serve Alcohol for First Time Ever After Disneyland Reopens

Disneyland will be open starting on the 30th. April marks the official reopening of the iconic theme park, with a few changes in store. However, these are not all the limitations of COVID and the safety regulations. Legendary restaurant Blue Bayou is adding alcoholic beverages to its menu for the first time. This makes it only the third adult beverage outlet in the park. And their drink menu promises a few surprises.

Before Disneyland closed in March due to the spread of the Corona virus, there were only two places where people of a certain age could enjoy a mixed cocktail or a pitcher of cold beer. And one of these seats is reserved for guests. Those who are lucky enough to visit the private establishment Club 33 can enjoy an alcoholic beverage on site for a long time. But that was only when Cantina Augie was in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened in 2019 to allow less reserved guests to purchase cocktails and beers in the park.

APPROPRIATE: Disneyland announces the official date of its spring reopening with heavy restrictions.

The Blue Bayou restaurant, located next to the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, will now add some drinks to its drink menu. Many thought that the famous restaurant already served rum ale and punch, and customers were often disappointed to learn that this was not the case when they sat down at the table.

That changed this year with the reopening of the Blue Bayou Restaurant at Disneyland. But when that happens, no one knows. Although Disneyland doesn’t reopen to California residents until late April, all of the backcountry attractions are not yet available, including Blue Bayou. But Disney Parks Blogs promises that the famous facility will open soon. And they tease the visitors with these touching words.

The Blue Bayou Restaurant at Disneyland Park will soon offer new drinks to enhance the dining experience. This customer favorite will open after the theme parks reopen, and we will announce that date as soon as possible. The enhanced offerings are in keeping with the history and spirit of Blue Bay and reflect what many of our guests have requested.
The new additions will enhance the restaurant’s menu and theme with drinks including wine, beer and the Hurricane’s signature cocktail, the New Orleans Staple! Or you could try a new holiday champagne package. Soon you will be able to combine them with the restaurant’s delicious menus, such as the popular Surf and Turf. Also look out for new seasonal variants of our Mint Julep soft drink. Stay tuned for more information on Blue Bayou.

Sounds refreshing, I’m sure. Elsewhere at Disneyland, there’s a new food mix that seems pretty provocative on its own. Downtown Disney’s Blue Ribbon Corn Dog Basket will soon offer a dill corn dog served with a peanut butter topping. Visit the Disney Parks blog for more information on the new food, treats and cocktails offered at Disneyland and Disneyland Florida.

Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure will open on the 30th. Reopening in April. Opportunities are limited, so make reservations before you come. There will be no indoor walks and only people who live in California will be able to visit the park. There are many new restrictions on Covid, so be careful if you are planning a trip to the happiest place on earth this spring or summer.
