Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has changed the game in recent years with his 3 pointers. From time to time he broke the Internet with his 3 points that were not fashionable. He shoots, turns and runs at the defense, showing a confidence that only the best shooters have. Patrick Beverley, the Los Angeles Clippers goalie, has started the adventure and, so far, he is tied for points.
Sunday night, as the Clippers shut out the Cleveland Cavaliers at Staples Center, Patrick Beverley intercepted a pass from Lou Williams and headed to the corner for a 3-point lead off the Cavs’ bench. Someone on the opposing team was about to say something when they intercepted the pass, so Beverley turned around while the ball was in the air to let them know it was a good shot.

ClutchPoints posted a summary of Beverly’s three points, but oddly enough, it was not found elsewhere on social media. Instead, all eyes were on the Lakers-Nuggets game in Denver. Beverley joked after the game and said he wanted everyone to show as much love for his 3 points as they showed Steph Curry and then LeBron James last month.

Beverly, however, appreciates it when someone gives her a nudge:

It wasn’t until Beaver’s comments on social media that the climax finally came on the big page. Patrick Beverly immediately responded with a message to Steph Curry:

Over the past six years in the NBA, Beverley has shot 40 percent of his shots from beyond the arc, and he has shot 43.6 percent more from beyond the three-point line this season than in his entire career. According to the nine-year veteran, the Clippers’ new coaching staff tells him he’ll get three more points this season.
At the end of the season, our reception staff will provide a summary of what you did well and what you did not do well. One of the problems I didn’t know – you think you know something until you see it on paper – and one of the problems for me was giving up shots. With this new management staff, they told me: Let yourself go. Even if Pat denies it, let it fly away. Historically, you’ve been one of the best shooters in the NBA. Without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in the lineup, Beverly had 16 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals on five of eight shots and four of three points. Lou Williams had a great night for the Clippers, finishing with 30 points and 10 assists for the fifth time in his NBA career.
