The Infinite Realm of Possibility By Rev. Elizabeth Rowley •

Imagine a cake, any cake. It could be pizza, cherry pie, sweet potato pie or whatever.

Take a thin slice of that cake and think about what you know, and you know what you know. For example, I can tie my shoes, swim, pray and read. I know these things.

Take another thin slice of that cake and remember that everything you don’t know is everything you know you don’t know. For example, I don’t know much about rocket science or brain surgery, or how to speak Mandarin. I know I don’t know these things.

The rest of the pie is everything you don’t know. You can’t know what you don’t know, you know? Consider this vast realm of possibilities of what we do not know as the realm of divine intelligence where our potential lies. It is a realm of infinite possibilities and infinite potential.
Think about this when you feel most stuck in your life. Remember that something radically new and awesome is available to you and you don’t know it yet. It exists in the infinite and boundless realm of the Divine. This is the place where we are invited to open up during the visualization process.

There is a difference between visualization exercise and visualization, both of which are powerful tools.

Visualization is about choosing from what is already in the world and what is there. You can only imagine what you already know. Visualization is what we do with vision boards, intentions, goals and brainstorming.

The vision opens to divine inspiration. It allows us to notice something new from the realm of infinite possibilities, beyond what we can see in the present and in the world and what is happening in our lives. Vision is a receptive state used to capture a vision of your life beyond your current awareness and understanding of yourself. The things we see are not made out of the things that appear. (Hebrews 11:3)

Life in question: What is the highest conception that the mind has of itself and of its life? Listen with your inner ear, which is the Divine within you, always seeking to express itself in you, through you and as you. Believe that you are now being guided by Spirit and that the Universe is working for you. When you receive divine inspiration, thank the universe for revealing its radiant splendor as you do so. Completely new and beyond what you could have imagined with your current mindset.

The theoretical physicist Albert Einstein said that we cannot solve our problems with the same mindset with which we created them. Let us also accept that we must become new and undergo a lasting spiritual change in our lives. In this case, we must remain open to the higher vision that Spirit has of us as we are – something new beyond what we know now.

And it is.
